Useful by design

About Pantry of Tools

A lightweight collection of focused utilities built to provide an answer without an account, download, or unnecessary detour.

The purpose

Pantry of Tools exists for the small calculations, conversions, and technical lookups that come up repeatedly. Each page is designed to make the tool easy to find, understand, and use on a phone or computer.

How the tools are built

Most tools run entirely in the browser. Inputs are kept close to the calculation, results are explained in plain language, and worked examples show how the answer is produced. A small number of networking tools use same-site Cloudflare endpoints when a live request is genuinely required.

Accuracy and clarity

Converters use stated unit definitions, and calculators document their formulas, assumptions, rounding, and important edge cases. Tools are tested with ordinary values, boundaries, and invalid inputs before publication.

Results are intended for practical reference. Pages call out conventions that can change an answer, such as US versus Imperial gallons or decimal versus binary data units.

Privacy without ceremony

The site does not require accounts and avoids collecting information that a tool does not need. Read the privacy notice for details about browser-based calculations, Cloudflare hosting, analytics, and live network lookups.

Simple and maintainable

Pantry of Tools favors focused pages, minimal dependencies, accessible interfaces, and fast static delivery. New utilities should solve a clear problem without making the rest of the site heavier or harder to maintain.
