Quick example
Find the cost of 500 g flour

Use consistent inputs
Each row is its own unit calculation

Cost, not selling price
Overhead and waste are not included
The result covers only entered ingredient fractions. Labor, energy, packaging, taxes, spoilage, trim loss, equipment, and profit are excluded unless you add them as separate cost rows with compatible quantities.
Method
How recipe cost is calculated
Each row uses amount used ÷ package amount × package price. Ingredient costs are added for the recipe total, then divided by servings. Values remain unrounded internally; display amounts round to two decimal places.
